However, BelAmour, our intimate one-bedroom villa just down the road, will remain open and ready to welcome guests. So, while Domingue moves into new hands, BelAmour continues to be part of our story, and we invite you to experience the magic of St. Barths with us.

How It All Began: Bruno’s Discovery of Domingue

Villa Domingue wasn’t always a luxury villa rental. In fact, it started as a private home, discovered by Bruno during one of our earliest trips to St. Barths. He was captivated by the stunning view—something we’ve come to treasure over the years. It was Bruno’s passion for that view, stretching endlessly over the Caribbean, that convinced us this was the place where we could build something special.

For the better part of two decades, we worked on transforming Domingue, little by little. We extended bathrooms, renovated rooms, and constantly found ways to improve the villa while preserving its charm. It wasn’t just a property for us—it was a labor of love.

Hurricane Irma: A Moment of Reflection

Then, in 2017, Hurricane Irma arrived, devastating much of the island and severely damaging Domingue. The aftermath of the storm forced us to rethink our connection to the villa and what we wanted it to become. Instead of giving up, we decided to rebuild Domingue from the ground up, creating a contemporary 3-bedroom villa while maintaining the original charm that had captivated us in the first place.

The rebuilding process brought new life to Domingue, with modern designs and a fresh start. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience, and when it was done, the villa stood taller and stronger than before.
