The Beautiful Beaches of St. Barths

This week, we feature some of the beautiful beaches of St. Barths.

Flamands Beach

Anse de Flamands Beach has the biggest beach in the entire island. Beach activities like bodysurfing and wave riding are some things to enjoy. Also, this beach has one “rarity” of them all: a shade: With this shade, tourists have the option of either dining with a fancy table dinner, or the more primitive style but more enjoyable picnic on the fine clear sand. Don’t be bothered by the girl in the photo sunbathing (I’m sure you won’t), since this photo is taken from the villa of Villa West Indies, promoting another best way to vacation in St. Barths, that is, villa rentals.

St. Jean Beach

Now we all know that there are thousands other beaches around the world. That you probably hear this all the time that: “Our town has the best beaches.” That may be true. Actually it is true that there are thousands of other beaches in the world. That other beaches also boast of white sands, crystal clear blue waters, or sunny tropical weather with fresh seabreeze. But what is unique about the beaches in St. Barths, is the luxury that comes with it. Because of the reputation and prestige that this island brings, the beaches in and around it are just further additions to the already exquisite St. Barths.

You may notice along the course of this write-up that some (but not all) of the pictures here may not have labels as to which beach. So, we leave that up to you to think it through and maybe hit that search button on Google, just to keep the thrill going.

This island is known as the most popular beach in St. Barths. Known for great views everywhere around the beach and powdery white sands and very calm waters. This beach is great for swimming with kids and just laying by the shore and just whisking the day away. As quoted by Isabelle C, she “Dreams of . . St. Barths” well, this is exactly what St. Barths beaches are, bringing you to places that you only dream of.

Saline Beach

This beach is a couple of minutes walk from the parking lot, and also has terrific restaurants near it. But one thing to take note of of this beach is that, this also a nude beachspot. Gays and straights have their own spots that they hang out. So for the conservative and those with little kids, be sure to keep a heads up on which specific spot to go to. Also, don’t forget to bring an umbrella to go under the shade if the heat really gets up.

Eden Rock

This next one has just a short beach front, but the best part about the beach, is the hotel next to it. Eden Rock.

Eden Rock is probably the most famous hotel in St. Barths. This hotel boasts of having high-quality food, world-class accommodation, extra-personal care and service, and a reputation for throwing the most lavish parties with top notch guests and celebrities. The beach of Eden Rock is a small beach space but after spending time swimming and doing other beach activities, it is best to unwind at Eden Rock. As mentioned before, they have great food and drinks and at night, enjoy a splendid party with a great view of the moonlight lit over the ocean.

It’s another one of those pictures showing nothing but feet on the sand and the beach as background, which makes us also at the same time imagine being on that same beach and just laying back, downing a bottle of beer, just relaxing.

These kinds of photos remind us of never to take things for granted. That life comes as a blessing and we should cherish it more every day. That’s what the beach and sea and the tropical weather in St. Barths is. To remind us that we should be thankful for what we have now, to not regret a single day, and to always, always live life, like it’s the last!
