We know that a lot of you enjoy the view from up above the airplane flying over St. Barths. This one particular photo however is kind of different. How? Photo caption says going Home to St. Barths. Going HOME. St. Barths is truly a home away from your own household. Tropical weather all year-round, great food, awesome beaches, the best villa homestays, you name it. St. Barths as your 2nd home? Definitely. No other better place in the world than being in St. Barths especially during this time of the year for many countries in the North where it’s winter season.

Still on the views on St. Barths, this one coming from Flamands Beach. We all know there are a lot of beautiful beaches in St. Barths. This is just one of the many views. The semi-black and white effect to it gives the feeling of an afternoon heading to sunset. Makes you just want to lay by the beach, with a cold beer in one hand and the other hand resting behind ur head as a pillow. Just imagine that for a second. With this picture as your view, you could just sleep the sun away and wake up later and head on to Nikki Beach and party the night away.

We can’t ever get enough of St. Barths. The views of the beach and all of it is something we can never get sick of looking at. Even the the classy look of St. Barths doesn’t disappoint. This next photo is like taking you back to the time you were in St. Barths, by the beach, taking a dip on the cool blue waters, the sunny weather just perfect, and everything is so quiet and you’re spending it with the people you love and care about. Great memories to reminisce.

The aerial views are great, the views from the beachfront itself is different also. Great memories also to reminisce like walking on the sand, having a picnic by the beachside, playing with kids, friends, or family by the shore and just taking the time to appreciate what life is all about. Because life is all about that. Just living it day-by-day, moment-by-moment. Just taking it in stride and hope to come out with the best possible result.

What better way to see the views besides being on the hillside and the airplane than by cruising in style. Luxury cruises are being offered in St. Barths and this type of vacation getaway is perfect for those who want to tour the Caribbean island. But doing so, St. Barths should be where you should spend the most time. Not being biased, but there’s just something in St. Barths that makes you want to keep coming back, makes you want to stay an extra day, week, or month. Sure it might cost a lot, but this kind of vacation can never be taken away nor compared to working how many hours of a stressful job. You deserve a vacation and with all the money you’ve saved up, the cost will just be nothing to you. To quote Mastercard, “Priceless.”

Since we are on the topic of the Caribbean, there has been discussion on which is the best island in the Caribbean. Well we answered that already and mentioned that we are somewhat biased, but yes, St. Barths is just the best. Not to give credit to the other neighboring islands, so we let you decide on which do you prefer. Since there is another island that is almost at par with St. Barths, we let you  think for yourself. This time St. Barths’ comparison with this neighbor is fair. We had a discussion last week that St. Martin is the up and coming competitor in the Caribbean. This tiny island is also making waves as having all-star celebrity visits and now, being compared to St. Barths, does that mean St. Barths should watch over it’s shoulder? Not at all. Competition is healthy and St. Martin is entitled to that. In fact, it is encouraged. The more Caribbean exposure, the better. The more publicity, the more free advertising. Great for both islands and great for the economy.

St. Barths News

In relation to the hot news of comparison between St. Martin and St. Barths, well this time we are not biased. An article written by Ann Rivall in NYDailyNews, it features the Top 10 Best Hotels in the Caribbean in the year 2014. And guess what. 2 of the 10 come from . . you guessed right, St. Barths. In this article (click the word to see the article) the Eden Rock Hotel and Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France are featured as top hotels in the island. Do we still need to compare St. Martin? St. Barths boasts of luxury vacation and 5-star world-class accommodation. This is not saying that St. Martin does not have such, but this is saying that maybe St. Barths is a little bit ahead. Top 10 “BEST HOTELS IN THE CARIBBEAN” for 2014 by a renowed media influence as NYDailyNews is something serious and legitimate. But as stated before, the more publicity for the Caribbean, the better for the islands. Great for the economy, better for tourists.

Last news we leave you is one thing we sometimes find to be amusing is the fact of the landing strip and the “scary” ride arriving and leaving St. Barths. Well this time it is not at all amusing. The scary trip has happened for real this time. News broke out that a plane crashed just after takeoff in St. Barths. Fortunately, only minor injuries were sustained by the American passengers. This “scary” concept of planes taking off and landing is something that must be taken with attention. Are the government authorities doing something about this? Maybe try and expanding the landing strip perhaps? Whatever it is, it has to be done now. St. Barths cannot afford another news like this as it might discourage tourists from flying in to the island. There are ferryboats and cruises though, but airplanes are the fastest and most convenient. This has to be taken action.
