St Barts villas can truly seem like a dream come true; especially for those honeymooners’ that just want tranquility and little hassle on their once-in-a-lifetime trip. But let’s face it, there’s a lot of villas to choose from when you vacation on St Barts Island – how can you be sure you’re choosing the right one? Why, you stop here of course! Who better to get a gist from than a villa owner himself? And no, I promise I won’t be TOO biased when it comes to my recommendations!!
Villa #1 :: This cute little villa is nestled in Gustavia Hill on the part called “Le Pointe” and, since it sits on the ocean side, it offers a terrific view of the Caribbean and the surrounding island. Although secluded and quiet, it is located right in town and is all the quaint shops and eateries are easily accessible. As a honeymooner, if you want to keep your new spouse all to yourself, you can go shopping together and then cook in the fully equipped kitchen, although I would suggest taking in all the local cuisine you can while staying with us. Cozy up on the patio hammock and enjoy a glass of champagne and a little stargazing after sunset. If you’re a pet lover, you’ll enjoy the permanent house guest, “Ti Gris,” a little cat that has been there since the day construction began. An affectionate feline, he sleeps lazily during the day and enjoys being loved.
Villa #2 :: With one bedroom and one-and-a-half baths, this is the perfect little retreat for “just the two of us.”  Nicely decorated with a view of the water it also boasts a gourmet kitchen if you and yours like to channel a little Wolfgang Puck now and again. Enjoy your meal out on the covered terrace before you take an evening dip in the pool.
Villa #3 :: Super cute and brand new, this villa happens to be right across the street from yours truly. I promised that I wouldn’t let my bias show too much, but I must admit, I’m quite fond of my new neighbors!
This villa offers a tremendous view of the transparent water below (as you can see by the photo) and the coral reef, compliment of the floor to ceiling windows. The bedroom and the living room are in the same room with a partial seperation between them. This charming one bedroom can be rented with neighboring “MBA” for an additional bedroom, if necessary. But, after all, if it’s just the two of you, who needs an extra bedroom?
Bonus Villa :: This unique one bedroom villa boasts a Japanese inspired style and is decorated as such, throughout. Enjoy views of Marigot Bay, or just admire the koi pond. Leisurely stroll through the well landscaped gardens while the slight breeze brushes your skin. If you are looking for truly original accomodations while staying on St Barts, this is the villa to do it in.
There are dozens of villas in which to spend your time while on our beautiful island; these are just a sampling of what’s available, but they also happen to be some that I think are the best choices.
